Let's do our best to keep our thought process positive in 2017, at least when it comes to our precious quits!

I slept in until 8:30 this morning which is really sleeping in for me, hubby was up before 6 o'clock and put on a stew and just finished his breakfast. I just called Adam's mom because we're supposed to pick him up at 9 o'clock for the day but he's been sleeping in over the Christmas break so we'll get him in a bit. Let's as always enjoy this day that we're fortunate enough to be blessed with while remaining vigilant for any unexpected stressers or situations but as long as we are on guard and live by N.O.P. E - Not One Puff Ever - then we can and will live a life of Freedom. The first days and weeks are certainly rough at times and definitely can feel like you're going to crawl out of your skin but you stay close to this site, keep your mind as well as your hands occupied and keep moving forward and stacking up those precious smoke free days because each day you get through is another day WON! And whether we've been quit a month, a yr or 3 yrs or longer it's a good idea for us not to get complacent in our quits and take it for granted because we all know that it only takes a split second to screw up a perfectly beautiful quit, I need to remind myself of this as well as you because I treasure my life as an Ex Smoker and never want to take my hard earned quit for granted because it's the best gift that I have ever given myself so I am going to hold on tight!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
