Quitting smoking is definitely difficult to say the least but anything worth having in life takes time and effort, I can tell you that it's so worth it to be living a life of Freedom . There's a wealth of information on this site that will help you quit and remain quit so read everything you can and maybe even write a blog and tell us a little about yourself so we can be here for you if you need us, there's definitely life after cigarettes and it's yours for the taking so grab on tight and don't let go because Freedom is EXhilarating! These mantras helped me to get to where I am today - N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever - S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option - and H.A.L.T - hunger, anger, lonely, tired and if you have been quit awhile and are struggling - N.E.F - Never Ever Forget the early days and wks of your quit because relapsing would totally suck big time because going forward stacking up your precious days of Freedom means each evening you can smile and say YAY ANOTHER DAY WON but relapsing isn't really an option because you would have to go back to day ONE so for me as well as you as Dale says let's keep them away from our face! I push vigilance quite often but by being vigilant and protecting our precious quits with our lives which our lives are literally depending on us to stay smoke Free by doing so, then and only then can we reap the benefits of an Ex smoker because we can go anywhere, anytime whenever, wherever and however without worrying about where to sneak off to suck on a killer cancer stick!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
