I have  always tried to live my life looking for the positives even when the negatives feels overwhelming because I find if we look hard enough we will always find something positive and I went into my quit with that mindset plus with everything I read here helped me to strengthen my resolve to be successful and I knew from reading here that it would get better and I thought maybe I will be a happy quitter if I could get past these horrid cravings where I wanted to scream and walk to my sister in laws which is a 30 second walk away and bum a cigarette but thankfully I didn't do it and went to Dales page instead concerning the first 4 months of quitting and read it and I blogged , everytime I felt like throwing a hissy fit and giving up I looked at the positives of quitting and kept on moving forward in my quit . I looked for the light at the end of the tunnel and in the beginning it was barely a flicker but after a couple of months it was getting brighter and the third and fourth months brighter still and for me now that light is brilliant so keep stacking up those precious days of freedom and if you haven't quit yet , start educating yourself by reading everything you can find about quitting smoking and remaining quit because there's nothing but positives and believe it or not life just keeps getting better and better without the crutch of the dreaded cancer sticks and if you don't believe me , stick with your quit and prove it for yourself !

Marilyn 860 glorious days of Freedom and counting !

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
