Share your quitting journey
Whether we have a day in, a wk, a month, a yr or 2, 5 or even 10 yrs or more it's so worth celebrating because we've rid ourselves of the horrid cancer sticks. If you happen to be in the first few weeks or even months of your quit, hang tough and know that life is going to be so much better without the crutch of smoking, I am still in awe that I quit and that I'm one of those happy quitters that I used to shake my head at and think SO WHAT!!!!! - but now that I am on my 21st month of smoke free living, it's like wow I did it and I am so proud and thankful to be able to say that I am an Ex smoker but I know that we all must remain steadfast in our quits and guard it with our lives because our lives depends on remaining smoke free. N.O.P.E - works, all we have to do is live by it because S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option and I always want to remember this mantra N.E.F - Never Ever Forget because I never ever want to go back to day one, instead I want to go to bed at night and smile and say yay, another day WON, whoo Hoo, come on my fellow Exers let's celebrate our freedom. Let's be sure to head over to the FREEDOM TRAIN once it gets to the station because our lives are grand without that cigarette in hand, the sunshine is making me happy but please be EXtra cautious with our quits because this nice weather might get us thinking about the yakies but do what I do and give your head a shake and say with pride that I don't smoke anymore.
