It's been a busy weekend, Saturday morning after breakfast hubby and I went to see a friend that found out a few months ago that he has prostate cancer and it's so sad that he didn't see the doctor sooner because he waited too long and now it's clear through his body and bones. He smokes, his wife is diabetic and had a heart attack, both have copd and she smokes and has an oxygen machine in their home and was told not to smoke in the house but when hubby and I got their Saturday right at the time we said we would, we could hardly see them through the cloud of smoke and it nearly took our breath away. We never said anything and stayed for over an hour and left an envelope with a little something in it too help them out with hospital visits,he's been taking chemo but may stop, he's got a few months at best, chemo may give him more time but not any quality. His wife called Saturday evening and went to the hospital ,they kept him and he is still in for dehydration and his copd and other reasons, i I'm sure. I am writing this blog early because my youngest grandson Mason is here and will probably be up soon, it's March break here and he was a wired little guy yesterday and wore his poor gram and Gramp out but we are tickled to have him here especially with both of us being ex smokers we can enjoy the grandchildren without the crutch of cigarettes and the grandkids, family, wallet and especially our health is thankful. Quitting smoking is absolutely doable and absolutely worth it, do it now before it's too late.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
