Share your quitting journey
I hope everyone will enjoy this wonderful day that we are fortunate enough to be blessed with whether we're feeling crappy or feeling great, I prefer to put on a smile and pass it along to you and whoever else I may come in contact with , plus being out in public meeting up with friends or even acquaintances and being able to grin and talk and not have to wonder if my breath stinks like an ashtray. Plus our Provincial Budget came down yesterday, everything is going up in price including alcohol and cigarettes which I don't do either anymore thank goodness but a 25 pk of cigarettes went from $12.50 to $13.75 for the cheapest generic brand. I know this because my 67 yr old sister in law still smokes and took me out for a Tim Hortons coffee yesterday and bought a pk, yikes on that price. I quit smoking for my health but being able to keep that money in my pocket and not having to give most of it to the government makes me smile, my husband and I rolled our own cigarettes but I'm sure a can of tobacco is super high in price too but I don't care because I don't smoke anymore and that makes me Extremely happy, keep your quits, stay strong and get healthier and keep your hard earned money in your wallets and believe it or not life does get easier the longer you stay quit and one day soon you will find out for yourself that there's life after cigarettes.
