Quitting smoking is the best decision that I've ever made in my life, I never in a million years thought I'd ever quit and wasn't really sure that I could or even wanted to . Even with the health concerns with my husband with two sets of chest xrays and a cat scan which scared him into quitting, by the time he saw his doctor for the results of the CT scan he already quit smoking for a month after 43 yrs of smoking, luckily the results were ok, only mild emphysema and on April 25th he'll have 2 yrs in . I was very happy for him but continued to smoke outside because neither of us smoked in the house for over a decade anyway . two and a half months later I quit because my doctor set up a breathing test which showed mild Copd which shocked the crap out of me because I thought I was just fine but once I stopped and thought about it and realized 40 yrs of smoking was bound to catch up with my health at some point, so freedom from smoking is within your grasp, hang on tight to your precious quit, be willing, determined and totally committed to succeed and you will , it's definitely not easy but it's absolutely doable and with the right attitude, you can reap the benefits of an Ex smoker, your health, family and wallet will thank you keep moving forward and find out for yourself that there's life after cigarettes.
