Good morning, it's my husbands 21st month of smoke free living and my 560th day since quitting smoking. Hubby smoked 43 yrs and me for 40, it was very, very, difficult for us to quit but it was definitely doable and absolutely worth it to be free of the slavery of cigarettes, no more crutch of smoking but we were willing, committed and determined to succeed and knew that this time we were too damned stubborn not to be successful but we all must be on guard for any unexpected stressers that could cause us to God forbid have a split second of weakness which without even thinking about it put one of those cancer sticks near our face and in our mouth and light it, no way no how will that ever happen because we will always remember our first few weeks of our quits, so we will remain vigilant while enjoying our Freedom from the dreaded nicotine poison.  We need to be EXrra careful not to get complacent and lazy in our beautiful hard earned quits because this is a horrible addiction that never gives up and will try to get us back but we will always be prepared and stand strong .

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
