I made my appointment this morning, my husband took some time off work to take me because he had to take my car anyway because he hasn't gotten his winter tires on his car yet. I needed to get a heart monitor this morning for 48 hrs, I'll return it Wed and see a specialist on Thurs. At least I got there today. I was supposed to get this monitor a couple of wks ago on the last snowstorm that knocked out our power and downed a bunch of trees . We are in a major storm watch with special weather statements and wide spread power outages are expected over the next 36 hrs or so but we're ready for it, as ready as we can be. Just in case you don't see me tomorrow or over the next few days it's because I lost my power, no fear of me smoking because I don't do that anymore. I have no desire to smoke and I had a very stressful morning hoping and praying to make this appointment but a cigarette never entered my mind so just remember that the longer you stay quit the easier it is to deal with stress or any emotion without the crutch of smoking. Oh I should mention that I don't expect anything negative with this monitor because it hasn't been a year since I had to wear one and everything was fine, I am sure my heart is ok but I need to go through the stages so the doctors can figure out why I have these weird spells every so often, life is good my fellow Exers, especially since quitting smoking so to anyone fairly new or just having a rough time with your quit, stay strong and hang tough because quitting smoking is definitely doable and absolutely worth it.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
