Share your quitting journey
It's almost 8 am, my daughter will be here after dropping Mason off to school and we're off to hopefully finish our Christmas shopping. I only have a couple of things to get and thank goodness I will be done, I'm hoping to buy us lunch before we head back home, Mason is my 6 yr old grandson for anyone that is new here. He called me at 7 and told me I had to go with his Mom (my daughter) because we are Christmas shopping he is precious, my finding out that I have copd, is the main reason for quitting smoking so I could hopefully be alive for Mason, Adam and Emma because my grandchildren are a huge part of my life and I want to be around to watch them grow up. Quitting smoking is definitely the best decision for all of and it's definitely doable and remaining quit is also absolutely doable, you just need to want it bad enough. After 40 yrs of smoking I wanted to quit and the wonderful people here on this site were here to help me through the rough times and here I am with 511 smoke free days and counting, stay strong, hang tough and stay close to this site because there's life after cigarettes and it's great.
