Share your quitting journey
It's Election Day here in Canada, my husband and I voted last wk end in the early polls, this is going to be very interesting and could be a little scary, no matter who's going to be the next Prime Minister. I will be up fairly late watching the election but British Columbia is 4 hrs behind me so I will probably head off to bed by midnight my time. Like anything else in this life whether it be this election or anything else in our lives, we must remain steadfast in our quits and continue stacking up our precious days in our forever quits because smoking isn't going to help any situation that we may be in but would only make things so much worse and we would still have to deal with whatever is happening. We must face life's problems head on without the crutch of smoking, believe me even after 462 days since I quit smoking stress gets me reaching for a split second for a sickening cigarette, that's why each and every day I remain vigilant and protect my hard earned quit because each of our lives depends on remaining smoke free, give your quit the time needed to realize that life is good and your health, family and wallet will thank you for counting the beautiful days of freedom from the dreaded nicotine poison. Let's give our heads a shake because we don't that anymore so let's treasure our DOF.
