It's a dark, dank, dreary day but it's a great day to be alive. It's been a wonderful long wk end with today being our big Thanksgiving meal with my husbands help it's going to be delicious, we're having his Mom and she's bringing her famous apple pie with her . I used to pastry cook yrs ago and I can make great pies but I have no desire to, on a daily basis I would make five different types of pies every working day so I prefer to bake anything other than pie. My husband is heading out for the rest of the week in the morning for his work but we'll enjoy the day together .We are thankful for each other and everything that we have together, my husband and I were talking this morning about our quits, he'll have a yr and a half in on the 25th of this month and next Wednesday on the 14th I will have 15 months, we both are so thankful that we were bright enough to finally toss the cancer sticks and start living our lives without the crutch of cigarettes, My husband has the beginning of emphysema and I have mild copd even though he's got 2 and a half months longer than I do we both quit smoking for our health, I didn't find out about my copd for almost 2 months after my husband quit, then I made a plan and found this site and here I am my fellow Exers ●

Marilyn 255 DOF and counting.

Thanks to Strudel for noticing that I shortchanged myself by 200 days I have 455 precious DOF and I earned everyone of them. I better get some much needed sleep tonight.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
