It's another mild morning in the Maritimes, my husband and his coworkers came home from Charlottetown Prince Edward Island last night which is a 7 hr drive but they couldn't do anything in the wind and rain. They stand large tarp buildings and were ready to pull the cover and the weather isn't going to be fit the rest of the wk,I am glad he's home, they were predicting 4 and a half inches of rain by tonight now they're saying 7, we'll see. We definitely need the rain like a lot of you on this site but not all at once. He'll go back to PEI on Monday weather permitting which according to the weather should be good by Sunday evening. I won't smoke over the crappy weather or anything else because I love my life without the crutch of cigarettes, plus I enjoy counting my days of freedom which is adding up 443 precious smoke free days today. Stay strong in your quits, stay close to this precious site and all the wonderful people that are here to help us with our quits. I really don't know if I could have made it through the withdrawals and cravings the first few weeks of my quit without the caring people that helped me every time I blogged many of you were here to get me through and here I am. Quitting smoking is definitely doable and absolutely worth it but you must believe in yourself and want it with every fiber of your being, I promised myself that I would never pick up another cigarette as long as I live and each morning I reinforce my promise and remain vigilant and protect my quit.
