It's the first day of Fall and mild at 43 ° F it's going to be a beautiful day to be outside, maybe I'll start putting away the patio furniture and the barbecue today. My daughter got me to pick Mason up after school yesterday,I waited for the bus at the end of his driveway when he saw me he was smiling which got me smiling  which made my day. Life without cigarettes is absolutely wonderful without the crutch of smoking. I am not a slave to the nicotine poison anymore and don't need to stop whatever I might be doing every 45 minutes or an hour to suck on one of those cancer sticks knowing that they were slowly killing me, finding out that I have copd was probably the best thing that could of happened to me because I decided I wanted to be around to watch Mason, Adam and Emma grow up .Quitting smoking is the very best gift that I could have given myself because the freedom is wonderful, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want without me smelling like a stinky, disgusting ashtray and making the grand kids wait while I find a corner somewhere outside to smoke, so let's always remain vigilant and protect our precious quits because our lives and our families are depending on us to be around for as long as we can .

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
