Today has been a long day and it's just about bedtime, I had routine blood work this morning which was a drag because I couldn't have my coffee until afterwards . I came back home and got a little house work done then went back to the hospital with my 88 yr old Mother in law to see her eye specialist, I went mainly for a second set of ears for her because her hearing even with both hearing aids in is not good anyway, she had a good appointment but by the time I got back home the day was shot but that's ok . I just realized a few minutes ago that today is 14 beautiful months of smoke free living and I am so very thankful for this wonderful site and all of you wonderful caring folks that are here for one another. Quitting smoking is definitely doable and absolutely worth it, let's enjoy our new found freedom from smoking but at the same time let's always protect it by remaining vigilant so we don't become complacent and lazy because life is too short to knowingly kill ourselves with the killer cigarettes.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
