It's still raining but now instead of feeling damp and cool the air feels thick and humid, we're supposed to get some thunderstorms today but hopefully I can get back from my dentist appointment before they happen because my dog Samantha Digger Jane Hartley is terrifed of loud noices especially thunderstorms. I really don't want to put her in her crate, I'll see before I go. I broke 3 small pieces of tooth off almost 2 wks ago biting into a pretzel of Masons and finally I'm getting it fixed this morning, I had jaw surgery back in 2001 for many reasons one being my jaw was off kilter enough to cause major headaches constantly. The surgery worked, I have 8 screws 4 plates and a hook and an eye in my jaw holding everything together and I wear a bite plain on my upper teeth and a retainer on my bottom teeth at night, I had to get partial plates ,knock on wood I've only lost 3 teeth so far 2 on the top and 1 on the bottom I needed the partials so my teeth wouldn't move because before the surgery I had to wear braces for over a year. My husband and I have over $10, 000 in my jaw that wasn't covered by our insurance so I really hope this tooth can be saved  it has a deep filling which is very old. Anyway wish me luck. I am so thankful that I don't suck on cigarettes anymore .

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
