It's going to be a beautiful day today in the mid 80s it's quite humid already but I will not complain because winter is creeping up us way too fast so I will enjoy the green grass over the mountains of snow any day. Yesterday afternoon my husband and I went to a benefit potluck supper for a friend of ours that's got roughly 6 months to live ,he has prostate cancer unfortunately he waited too long to see a doctor. He's 69 his wife is 56 and they both still smoke, she has diabetes and had a heart attack about 8 months ago and is on oxygen. I feel horrible for them both but at the same time am very, very thankful that I have 363 precious days of freedom from smoking and was able to quit for me 40 yrs of smoking and finding out that I have copd was enough to scare the crap out of me and convince me to quit and never under any circumstance smoke again and I never haveaand God willing never will because I choose the rest of my life to be an EX SMOKER. Enjoy the day everyone. Mason wrote I love you to me on the doodle pad site on my tablet a couple of months ago and wanted me to save it so last night  I thought I'd use it for my avatar for awhile. I'll show him tommorrow that I am using it, that should make him smile and maybe he'll make me something else.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
