To all of you that are beginning your quits, you can succeed and be EX SMOKERS. The first 2 or possibly 3 wks will be horrid but you must get through this rough patch to get to a much better place to realize that quitting smoking is definitely the best decision that you will ever make in your lifetime. Your  health and your wallet as well as your family and friends will definitely all benefit. You can and will succeed in your quits if you are 100 % committed to succeeding. I know that for myself after nearly 40 years of smoking and finding out that I have copd and nobody has smoked in my house including me in over 11yrs because of grandchildren coming into the world and just plain being respectful of my non smoking family and friends. I look back now and I only have 177 days of being smoke free but I think I was protecting everyone else but me. It took me long enough to start looking after myself but better late than never and I believe that I've quit smoking before any major smoking illnesses and thank goodness my copd is mild . Please stay strong .

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
