How to explain my 11 yr old dog Samantha Digger Jane Hartley and her terror of loud noices of any kind from thunderstorms to heavy snow sliding off the roof like last night. Last January we stayed in a deep freeze for over 3 wks with temps ranging around -10 to -12 super cold and at night the frost coming out of the house would make loud snapping noices because it was so cold. My dog Sam would literally freak out and bark, wine, try to climb the walls she nearly upset my brand new TV I got for Christmas because she tried to climb up the stand. Anyway the vet gave her tranquilizers to calm her down, my husband was on the road most of the time when this was happening and is now too . I didn't think it was too bad last night, boy I was wrong I went to bed at 10:30 and gave Sam a tranquilizer at 11:30 she paced, barked and tried to squeeze into every corner she could which means everything was getting knocked down or over and definitely no sleep until around 3:45am and she started up again just before 7am. My poor Sam and poor me, the tranquilizer didn't work too well. I amggoing to have a very long winter with my Sam that is if I live through it, just joking. Guess what I will not smoke over it I would be a total idiot I have 128 days of freedom from the disgusting poison cigarettes. Enjoy your day everyone, I hope I can sleep tonight the snow is definitely off the roof now.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
