Share your quitting journey
I'm ready for the sunshine, we definitely needed this 8 inches or so of rain over the last 3 wks but now I need the sun. I am doing good with my quit I know that each quit is different. I want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy each day that they kick the nicodemon to the curb, I hope each and every person that is quitting smoking realizes that the first 2 or 3 wks is horrible. I know for me I thought I was crawling out of my skin at times, I was moody , crabby, foggy and if you ask my husband I was probably down right nasty but I was and am committed to never ever picking up another cigarette as long as I live. I pray to God for the strength to get through the day and thank him for delivering it to me . stay strong and stay close to this site especially if you are tempted to slip, I am only on my 108 th day I am not by no means out of the woods so to speak. I just wanted to say to all of you especially the newbies like myself keep on keeping on, stay the course , lets keep our quits. We have worked too hard to throw it away. I really hope I am not offending anyone. These thoughts have been on my mind the last couple of days and I'm not real good with words but I wanted to share my thoughts. Please have a relaxing evening.
