Share your quitting journey
I hope everyone had a great day, I have my 5 yr old grandson staying for a couple of days. I definitely am thrilled to death I'm not going outside to smoke every hour and saying that I will be back in a few minutes I know that he got frustrated with me and I don't smell like an old ashtray anymore I know my 10 yr old grandson is really proud of my hubby for over 5 months being smoke free and 2 more days I'll have 3 months. I finally figured out when my quit date arrived there will never be a good time to quit so just do it and I did since then alot has happened good and bad but cigarettes will not help but they will kill, I have a sister right now waiting for surgery on the 16th of this month for breast cancer of course we won't know how bad until after. An Uncle just died of bone cancer 2 wks ago I didn't make the funeral it was 1200 miles away but life goes on. For me it will be without smoking ever again, I will treasure life because life is worth living to the fullest without slowly killing ourselves with smoking. Please enjoy the rest of your evening. My grandson has been very patient with me writing this blog now it's time to snuggle with him it's his bedtime.
