How much water does it take to ruin an engine?

I'm kind of serious on this question. Sometimes we allow things in our lives, and sometimes common sense answers it with "why would I do that?" So I like visual things to explain. If I can see or at least imagine, then it makes more sense. I'm guessing I'm not the only one.

So, does it take a teaspoon of water? or is it 1/4 cup, or more like a cup? or is it more? I know there is condensation that happens, but it doesn't seem to cause problems or maybe the total amount isn't that much.

What's my point? How much nicotine does it take to ruin a body? Is it just one cigarette? only a month of 4 a day? or is it more like 25 a day but not that many every day?

If the details of smoking and using smokeless products are already out there, why would we check and see if the body can handle anymore. Whether it is cigarettes, cigar, smokeless, pipe, and now ecig/vape; it's not the delivery, it's the nicotine. It's never been the cigarette; it's the nicotine

So, how much does it take to ruin the engine-body?
