God news, bad news, some hope

And will start with the good news: the brain MRI came back negative for anything drastic; just “Mild chronic microvascular disease”, just a nice way of saying “just a little used up”, or the brain of a diabetic person…oh well.

And now the bad news is that the PCP Dr has no clue about the current symptoms, he just told me to go home and drink lots of water, and he wants to see me in 3 months…Yeah, like that is going to happen!!!  He had a student with him and really told me “I am sorry you are suffering but I got nothing”, insisting I go back to the GI Dr because it is probably the liver…  well I had fatty liver for probably about 5 years and I was walking like a pro 6 months ago, before the famous Cymbalta…

Anyways I took the big leap and made an appointment with a naturopathic Dr, she went to school in my town, and practices in my town, and she’s got some awesome reviews, from many patients, some  driving 3h, to be able to be seen in her office.  Her prices are not cheap, but she is the one stop shop, the new patient visit lasts for 2h, and is being preceded by a 15min complimentary first visit.  I scheduled the 15min on Wednesday morning, and will let you know how it goes.

A glimmer of hope from a direction I did consider for a while, but finally had the courage to go for it!

You all have a great evening, and keep it smoke free.

And for the newbies here, it feels so good when you are being asked “do you smoke” to answer, “I quit”, so keep being an EX, it is the right thing to be, no matter what challenge life serves us, you can deal with it as EX just as well (if not better) as before being one, and you get all the health benefits from being one!

NOPE
