I Don't Think There is Any Truth

~~I don't think there's any truth.  Only points of view.~~  PictureQuotes.com

Can I say that I absolutely love, love, love when someone comments on one of my posts with a different point of view?!!  I don't know everything ( yes, it's true!!) and I haven't dealt with every imaginable scenario in life.  I only know my point of view and how I read things and see things and take things in.  Did you ever hear the expression "We see things as we are, not as they are"?  So I'm very open to learning.  I'm all about having someone share their views.  And I'm simply delighted when someone shows me that I may be mistaken about something.

Now, of course I don't like rudeness any more than anyone else.  I'm strictly anti-bullying    But that doesn't much happen here.  We learn from each other.  We support each other.  And we help where we can.  Some are here daily.  Some come on their anniversaries.  Some pop in here and there.  I value each and every one of them.  I think you are all simply phenomenal!  Everyone (even those who simply read and do not post) has something valuable to offer the world and I welcome the opportunity to learn from you.  I'm honored to be a small part of a supportive community like this and I'm humbled that people like to share on my posts.

I don't take offense. I don't take things personally.  Ok, usually   And I love knowing that there are other ways of handling life.  That there are viewpoints that are magnificent in their generosity to others.  That people care.  That the support is so fierce and embracing and kind.  That if help is needed, it's here.  Unconditionally.  Complete.

Quitting smoking is hard.  For some.  It's a individual thing.  For some.  It's learning how to do things without smoking.  For some.  It's finding support.  For some.  There is no universal truth.  No hard and fast rule on how to quit.  Educate yourself (I think that helps).  Make a plan (I think that helps).  Get support (I think that helps).  But most importantly.....I want to know what you think

Have a blessed evening, my friends!

Sheri
