~~Don't be so stuck on the struggle that you refuse to be a part of life, there's so many people waiting on you to show them that they deserve to live, so breath a bit and live life even in the struggles.~~ Therightmessages.com

Have you ever had one of those days that seemed like you were living a whole life within 24 hours?  You feel success, joy, sorrow, grief, surprise, anger, and bewilderment all within the space of a day.  Yep, that was me yesterday. And through it all, I was thinking, "Wth?".  Never once thought of smoking through it, though. Smoking wouldn't take away that piece of bad news or fix what was broken or make me smile through the tears.

I'm not here to whine about my life as there's not much to really whine about   I'm here to say that I get it.  You're stressed?  I get it.  Broken-hearted?  I get it.  Angry beyond belief. Yep, been there, too.  And I hate it for you, truly.  It's not often fair and it's not often fun and it's not even making anyone going through one of those days feel gratitude or hope or happy.

But I'm here to tell you that the quote up at the top of the page means something to me.  It means more than whatever broke my heart.  It means more than whatever made me angry.  It means more than whatever bewilderment I feel.  Because when I am having one of 'those' days, one of the best ways I've found to cope is to remember to do for others.  Take yourself out of you and put your energy into reminding someone else that they matter, too.  That they can move that mountain or straighten that crown or simply just believe in themselves a little bit more.

So while part of me wants to withdraw and make some sense out of what's happening, I'm instead going to trust that life has my back.  I'm going to 'let go and let God'.  I'm going to step outside myself and hold out my hand to another who may need it. Because that makes my life better.

Find what makes your life better and use it often and use it well.  Because you won't find fulfillment in the struggle and you won't find your joy in the negative.  Find the better in your life. It's there for a reason
