The really great news I got today is that I have a normal brain, and the CT angiogram showed no evidence of an aneurysm. I guess what the MRI saw was artifactual!! I am so relieved, and I am even more determined to keep my quit now!!

Oh, just, oh, smiling and feeling light of spirit myself from hearing your good news.
"I am even more determined to keep my quit now!!" Write that on a piece paper. Post it somewhere where you see it every day.
"Artifactual" Thanks for teaching me a new word! Never heard of it before. I thought you had actually made it up, like a cute "take" on 'artificial,' until I googled it. How I love the way the English language morphs.
Actually Giulia, artifact is known in many languages around the world, and it means the same thing in the medical world, as you found it, I am sure, as the second meaning of the word "something observed in a scientific investigation or experiment that is not naturally present but occurs as a result of the preparative or investigative procedure". It's the same in Romanian, "artefact", in Italian "
artefatto", in French "artefact" in German "Artefakt". I am sorry, I just love languages, and I am so happy
when many of them are sharing the same word
So good to hear your news, Christine! I'm sure you were relieved and glad it is adding to your motivation to stay quit FOREVER! Hugs, Bonnie ~687 DOF
