A Christmas Blessing

Posted by Christine13 Dec 24, 2015

Merry Christmas!  I received a marvelous gift from God today.  I had my CT scan on my back on Tuesday morning.  I had breast cancer five years ago, sometimes it comes back as bone cancer, which is why my Dr. was being cautious of my back pain.  Anyway, I do not have bone cancer!  God is good!!  I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that I will be around a lot longer!

The best gift I could ever ask for!  Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes for me!!

Sending Love!

Good News this Christmas!

Posted by Christine13 Dec 21, 2015

It will be my first Christmas in many years that I will be smoke free!  My husband is doing better these days and we've been able to invite people over for coffee for short visits here and there.  He's even cooking some easy meals which is a bonus for me!  I go for a CT scan of my back tomorrow and that's our last appointment before the holiday.  I hope it's good news that maybe all this back pain can be solved.  They got me in fast so that's also a blessing.  I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas!! :)

Life Is Good!

Keeping it smoke free today!  Just found out my Mom does NOT have breast cancer!  She is 86 years old, and it runs in our family.  I had it five years ago and had surgery, radiation, chemotherappy and a drug called Tamoxifen for 5 years.  Now it's time I realized what a gift I Ihave been given with these five years of extra life.

I am hoping to stay strong in my quit and not waiver again.

I also am hoping for good news for my husband Brian when he goes to see his heamotolgist on Tuesday.

I have been enjoying the holiday season so much this year!  I am not as stressed out about Brian since he has been having weekly blood tests and transfusions when he needs them sooner.

Well, I hope everyone's day is as good as mine is today!

Keeping quit * that's a must!
